Hello and winter hugs to all my students, friends and dance sisters! It’s been a fun and smooth winter season for myself and Raks Rosa Dance Company. In December we had the pleasure of performing at Alnisa’s Annual Holiday Show at Papa’s Greek Taverna. We had a great time and many of my dancers commented on how much fun it was to perform there. As we settle into 2010, Raks Rosa Dance Company and The Valkyries are getting ready to buckle down and prepare for our very exciting showcase on Saturday, February 20th at “The Echoes of Egypt” Bellydance show. We are bringing out some of the most fabulous dancers for your enjoyment – so buy your tickets now!! February 20th will be jammed packed because at 10:30am -2: 00pm we are offering a workshop earlier in the day with award winning dancer Ahava that you won’t want to miss! www.ahavadance.com After the workshop you can grab a bite to eat and then come on out to watch some sizzling dance performances!!! I am very happy to say that I started a new performance troupe named “Azizam”, it is comprised of 9 ladies who are just absolutely fabulous. For some of the women it is their very first time performing bellydance. I am SO PROUD of them! We have been working hard in preparation for our show this Saturday at Aneena’s Hafla in Novato- come and check it out and support us if you can make it!!
